Time Off

I was going to title this entry 'sabbatical' then I decided to check out its proper meaning- lmao all these years I have been using the word incorrectly... It made me think of words we don't use correctly- my Nigerians friends do you remember writing ‘if so doxology’ in our letters smh! Anyway I'll archive that for a future entry.

Now to my main entry...

I forgot to tell you that I was taking time off; I'm not sure exactly when it started neither am I sure of when it’s ending. I think it has, but I'm not sure.

My brain was so full- so I needed to delete some stuff... Would love to gist you about some of the stuff but I've signed a non- disclosure contract, breach of which will mean I won't be allowed to eat rice ever again (Haaaaaaaaaaaa Noooooooooooo fkngklgkgjdshgfjfh)! That would be a cruel world indeed!!!

Anyway what have I been up to? - Well…

1) Opening my door
Knock knock-  I opened the door- it was an elderly woman at the door- I thought wrong door - (one time this fish knocked my door asked for Wayne, Kate and William; who apparently were her cousins...)  Back to the old lady; she said to me “there's a cat out here it looks so sad”... I looked around I didn't see any cat- I said “oh no- is it your cat?” (In my fake British accent, my version of it of course)

Why prolong the conversation you asked-, well my faith teaches me that angels visit people, what if this was an angel? that was my reasoning- Anyway I stood there for 10 minutes talking to her and worrying about a cat I can't see and doesn't belong to me- I don't even like cats- my background tells me they are evil (covers face, don't judge me)

2) Observing the weird things human beings do
The other day I was on the bus on my way to Heathway to buy £1 sweet popcorn (my diet is going well thanks for asking) when all of a sudden this woman got up from her seat in a huff. She went up to the bus driver and started yelling at him for driving too slow and waiting at the traffic light; apparently she was late for an important appointment!!!

LMAO LMAO LMAO Erm I can’t tell you more than that, because it might turn out that she is my cousin’s nephew’s husband’s sister in law. (Straight face)

3) Tricking my son into saying I love you mummy
Awwwwwwwwwwwww

4) Applying for jobs and going for interviews.
I’ve decided it’s time I go back to work  I miss the drama and all the back stabbing, (it’s time I stop making excuses and embark on the journey to achieve my dreams)  so I’ve started applying for jobs, and it hasn’t been too bad. The last interview I went to was quite interesting; after waiting for the interviewer for 20 minutes he turned up and said to me “let’s keep this interview social” and took me to lunch.

So yeah, I’ve been cool, thanks to those who asked and I’m kinda back, but I’m not sure.

  1. Interesting! Especially the bus driver issue. I mean how dare the bus driver yield to law when mami is late for an appointment. Good stuff
