Tomorrow May Be Too Late

In the space of two weeks I heard about the death of three people; one was a relative and the other two were relatives of friends. When I heard about my uncle (I’m not sure of the correct term- he’s my mom’s cousin) I just shut down and dealt with it the way I deal with these things, buried my emotions. BUT hearing the death of the other two people on the same day a week later brought the emotions back to surface and I cried. (Sigh*)

I’m a Christian and my belief tells me- there is a time and season for everything, it tells me God doesn’t do evil, it tells me God gives and he takes. Even, moving on from my religious belief it is a fact of life- Death is a debt we must all pay. The only unfortunate thing is some pay the debt sooner than most.

Death has no boundaries- it snatches anyhow and we are never ready; there is always something we wished we had told them before death strikes.

So my advice to you is this:

That person you haven't spoken to, for whatever reason, for a while, pick up the phone, call them send them a text message, send them a facebook message- contact them anyway you know how to (but no telepathic messages please)! Say hi!! You never know, tomorrow may be too late!
