To be honest with you, I hate Christmas! I have hated Christmas for a long time...
why? well we can blame my mom- I hated the frilly girly clothes she made me wear every single Christmas all those years... you know those ones with bows and u have to wear white socks that just had to have lacy things on it!
I hated having to sit in the sitting room with people... most of whom I had never met before.. they always claimed to be the sister or the brother of my nan's, uncle's, sister's, sister in law's, cousin's, son... What I hated was the fact that I was not allowed to do what I liked doing- which was to just sit in my room pretending to read...
or it could be because I never get what I really want erm mom where is my 2000 Brittanica Encyclopedia!!! where I ask where?!!? or its just simply that I'm a weirdo that way...

I mean I understand that Christmas is all about celebrating Christ and all, but I read somewhere that he was born in September so there!!!
All joke apart though yes fundamentally Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ, to celebrate God's unfailing love in lowering himself to our level just to bridge the gap... It is also a time to reconnect with family, friends and enemies... so pick up your phone today and call that person you have not spoken to since last Christmas...
Do not forget to kneel after eating and over eating- kneel, look up and just say 'thank you'
